What is the Candidate Insights Report?
The Candidates Insights Report is a report shared with candidates who completed an interview using a HireVue assessment. The report describes the candidate’s work related competencies based on their interview responses and/or game-based assessment performance. It is intended to help candidates learn about themselves and give them tips for development. It also gives a general description of how their assessment results were developed.
Do all candidates receive this?
You can customize your account settings to control distribution of the Candidate Insights Report. You can choose to send these reports to all candidates, customized by team, or choose to disable these reports. Contact your Customer Success Partner to enable these settings.
How do the candidates receive these reports?
Once the candidate completes the interview, they will automatically receive a “Your Insights Are Available!” email with a link to view their Insights report. This email is sent after the automated candidate “Thank You” email.
What if candidates have questions?
A customer contact name and email will display at the bottom of the Candidate Insights report if there is a POC listed for the position the candidate completed an interview for. If there is no POC, the candidate may contact support@hirevue.com. The support team will provide general information regarding the report. If candidates have questions about the recruitment process, they will be directed to contact you. Follow your internal protocol to guide these conversations.
What if a candidate contacts me? What should I tell them?
If the candidate contacts you regarding their Candidate Insights Report, you can refer to this candidate FAQ. If they are asking questions regarding the recruitment process, refer to your internal protocol.
Does the Candidate Insights Report give the candidate further information about the recruitment process?
No, it does not. It gives candidates insights on their competencies and tips for development. No recruitment process information or hiring decision is indicated on the report.
Who has access to the Candidate Insights Report?
Only candidates have access to the Candidate Insights Report. You will have access to the Candidate Report data in the HireVue platform, which presents candidate assessment data, but not the details of candidate competency descriptions and developmental tips.
What if I want to see the Candidate Insights Report?
You can see the Candidate Insights Report only if the candidate shares it with you. This is in alignment with our (General Data Protection Regulation) GDPR guidelines.
