Hirevue Live allows the candidate and the interviewer to see a common text editor during the interview by using Live Coding.
Use Case: The interviewer might enter the beginning of a block of code or ask the candidate to begin writing according to specific directions. While the candidate types, interviewers can see all their keystrokes and can ask questions or guide the candidate interactively.
Live Coding
When the Live interview has started, the options Video Chat and Live Coding are listed. Click Live Coding.
In Live Coding, you or the candidate can pick the CodeVue language to use. After the code is input, you or the candidate can click Run to run the solution.
Please note: Since not all languages are supported, some languages will not run the code.
When the code is run, it will compile and run in the Output panel.
