Summary

While overall scores and totals provide a general picture of how a candidate performs across an interview, it’s also important to take a closer look at their individual responses. The Candidate Responses Export allows you to easily bulk download all of the answers made on an interview,  as well as their respective scores (if applicable), and examine them in-depth.

How to Use

If you are using OnDemand interviews using questions such as multiple choice, multiple selection, ranking, or essay, the candidate responses export is for you. This export lists a row for each submitted response for all interview types, including incomplete interviews, and provides details such as the question asked the response made by the candidate, where it appeared in the interview, and the type of question.

Depending on how you design your interview, you might export candidate responses to determine how candidates responded to individual questions to:

  • Filter out those responding unfavorably to knock-out questions
  • Compare candidates to break a tie
  • See which question(s) a candidate missed, or got only partial credit on
  • Study questions scores to determine which may be too hard or too easy
  • Analyze response rates to uncover which questions cause the greatest amount of candidates abandonment within the interview

Please note: Questions without textual responses, such as video, programming challenges, and games, will be left blank.

Please note: The Candidate Responses Export is only accessible to users with reporting permissions such as account and team administrator and team reporting manager. 

Downloading the Export

  1. Navigate to the export by clicking Analytics, choosing Data Exports from the menu on the left then selecting Candidate Responses Export.


     

     

  2. You can also find this report on the Positions page by clicking into an active position and choosing Candidate Responses from the Export to XLSX drop down menu.


     

  3. Configure the settings then click export. 



    Select a date range: Choose from a preset date range or create your own.
    Select filters: Choose the teams you want included in the export data.
    Choose a file type for export: Choose the format of the export.
