This article is a general overview of team settings. Your account may vary and include different settings.
Theme Access
This is the branded theme for the team. The branded theme will affect the branding for all of the candidate’s interview pages and any email templates from HireVue. Users will pick a theme or use the default theme when they create a position in HireVue.
In the Enable column you can check multiple branded theme options under, and you can set one of the themes as a default.
To preview the branded candidate interview pages and email templates click Preview.
Point of Contact
This is a default point of contact for interviewing candidates. It will be listed on each position on the team.
Click the pencil icon to add a point of contact.|
Click into the Point of Contact Type to choose if the point of contact is specific to this team or the default for the entire account.
Then fill out the name, phone number email, and URL for the point of contact accordingly. To save the point of contact click Save.
On Demand Interviews
This section allows you to change the type of On Demand interview access. Depending on your account settings your options for On Demand interviews may vary.
Click in the drop down menu to the right of On Demand Interview Access to control this setting. The options Allow All, Audio Only, Audio & Video, and Disabled may be listed in the drop down. The options are defined below:
- Audio Only: On Demand interviews created will only record audio and not video.
- Audio & Video: On Demand interview created will record both audio and video.
- Allow All: The user creating the position to decide between Audio Only and Audio & Video.
Alternatively, the drop down menu may list either Enabled or Disabled. Choose to enable or disable On Demand interviews for that team.
Live Interviews
This section allows you to change the type of Live interview and disable or enable the Live interview feature.
To the right of Live Video Interviews, you can choose to Enable or Disable.
Audio Connection refers to the audio option in the Live interview. You can choose to set the Live interview audio through a phone as a dial-in interview, through a computer’s microphone & speakers, or Allow All. Selecting Allow All will allow the user creating the position to choose either phone or mic and speakers.
Interview Recording can be set as Non-Recorded, Recorded, or Allow All. Selecting Allow All will allow the user creating the position to choose either Non-Recorded or Recorded.
Chat refers to the chat option in the Live interview. You can set chat as Non-Recorded, Recorded, or Chat disabled.
Webcam Required determines whether or not a webcam is required for the interview. You can set webcam required as Required for None, Required for All, or Required for Candidates Only.
Evaluating Interview
This section allows you to set the requirements for completing evaluations. To set an option as required click the checkbox to the left of each option. Each option is defined below.
- Interview Ratings are the star rating for each interview.
- Interview Recommendations are the evaluation decision. In the evaluation, these options may include Yes, No, and Maybe.
- Interview Comments are the comments evaluators can leave on each interview question.
Interview Scoring
This section allows you to enable question scoring and change the default scoring mode in each position.
Enable Question Scoring will turn on the question scoring feature. This feature enables automatic scoring for multiple selection and ranking questions. When this feature is enabled you will choose the weighted score for each question.
For On Demand and Live interviews you can choose whether the ratings are scored per question or per candidate:
- Per Question means that evaluators will need to rate each question. When the evaluator submits the evaluation, the evaluation will show an average rating based on the scores they chose for each question.
- Per Candidate allows evaluators to choose an overall score for the candidate. This option will not allow users to rate each question.
Shareable Interview Link
This section allows you to enable shareable interview links, which is a public sign-up link available for all interview types (On Demand, Live Video, On-Site, Phone, and Event). The option Enable social sharing options will allow you to share the link on social networks.
To enable, click the checkbox to the left of each option.
CodeVue
This section allows you to enable CodeVue for On Demand interviews and Live interviews. For Live interviews CodeVue will be available on Live Coding. To enable, click the checkbox to the left of CodeVue Access.
