HireVue--Live 3.0 Interviewer Overview
HireVue is pleased to offer our new and improved Live Interviewing product! This guide is designed to give a quick overview and prepare interviewers for the newly updated experience!
What interviewers should know:
- Accessing your HireVue Live Interview will not change, you’ll still click on the interview link in your email/calendar invitation
- While Chrome is still the recommended browser for Live Interviews, and we also support Microsoft Edge 79+. Other supported browsers can be accessed via the HireVue Live Desktop Application, which will prompt an install when utilizing Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer.
What interviewers will see before the interview:
- Welcome Screen (which indicates whether or not the interview is recorded)
- System Check
- Candidate Status--gives a ‘real time’ update on candidate’s progress of joining
Once “Start Interview” is clicked:
1. Position Name (Pulled from HireVue when Interview was created)
2. Candidate Name and information (all icons may not appear, this is dependent on what has been added to HireVue)
3. Interview Timer (“Recording” will display if interview was set up to be recorded or “Elapsed Time” if non-recorded)
4. Additional interview controls (Available for both candidate and interviewer)

5. Your video stream (candidate will always appear in the middle of the screen)
6. Interview Scorecard (what you see is dependent on account settings and you may not see all items)
a. Ratings (if applicable)
b. Schedule
c. Notes (shows all notes you’ve added)
d. Questions (if applicable)
e. Add notes (place to add any notes during interview)
f. Recommendations (if applicable)
g. Tags
7. Chat--visible to candidate and all interviewers
8. End Interview button--Ending for everyone will stop the interview and remove the candidate from the room. Interviewers will be able to continue to chat and add notes, as needed!
