In HireVue, click New Position on your Home page. Alternatively, click Positions at the top of the page, then New Position.
Type in the position title and add a public title if applicable.
Under Interview Type select Phone in the drop-down menu.
Add any applicable information in the custom fields listed and then click Advanced Options.
Under Point of Contact you can add a point of contact or review the point of contact assigned.
Under Candidate Visibility choose who can view candidates on this position.
Under Evaluator Rating, the scoring for evaluation ratings is listed as: Per Candidate or Per Question. If a drop-down menu is listed below you can pick the scoring mode. If not the scoring mode has already been set for your team.
Please note: There may be varying options in advanced options depending on the setup of your company’s HireVue account.
Candidate Experience
In Candidate instructions include any candidate instructions. Click the paperclip icon to add any documents.
In Branded Theme pick the applicable theme. Depending on your account settings you may have a designate theme already assigned. Click Preview to preview any email templates from HireVue and candidate interview pages.
In Self-Schedule Calendar Setup you can edit the available days of the week, hours, and available dates. In the Schedule Settings, you can check Maximize candidate interview slots, schedule only when external calendar(s) show availability, require candidates to schedule a certain amount of days in advance, limit number of times a candidate can reschedule and lock candidates ability to reschedule a a certain amount of days before their interview.
Interview Template
Choose the time zone for the interview in the drop down menu.
At the top, name the interview session.
In Details choose the duration of the interviews, interviewers, Interview followers, and the room for the interview.
In Questions, type in a question or click Load Questions to load questions from the question bank, a question template, or from a previous position.
In Instructions, add any instructions for the interview, a comment, or a link to any applicable files.
You can also add another session or load previous sessions.
To save the position click Save.
Please note: If you do not want to save the position you can leave the page and it will remain in a draft form. Do not click Cancel as it will delete the position and there is no way to recover it.
