To create an Event interview, Coordinate must be enabled on your company’s account. Use Event interviews to schedule several candidates into separate time blocks for hiring events, career fairs, or assessment centers.
Please note: Event Interviews are compatible with Taleo's multiphase integration.
Event type interviews only use the self-schedule feature. This means that candidates who receive an invitation will need to schedule their interview according to the interview blocks setup for the position. These interviews do not require a calendar integration to be set up.
Things to note
- To cancel a candidate’s interview, delete the candidate’s interview from the position. The candidate will then receive a email informing them that their interview is cancelled.
- To reschedule candidate interviews, delete the interview block(s) created. Ensure there are other interview blocks created. The candidates will then receive an email notification asking them to reschedule their interview.
- To delete an Event position, ensure there are no candidates waiting for an interview, and archive the position.
- To view upcoming events, the Positions tab in HireVue will show Event interviews with two columns that list when the next event is scheduled for and how many slots are scheduled out of the total amount of available slots. Choose Edit columns to show these Event specific columns.
