Download the HireVue for Recruiting app from the App store.
Please note: The HireVue for Recruiting app was previously called HireVue Pro app.
In your invitation email, click the option Start interview setup.
When the app loads the interview, the candidate name, position title, interview time, and interview duration will be listed. Choose Begin Setup to continue to the interview.
Tip: Click Interview Tips to review tips for the interview.
HireVue for Recruiting will request access to your microphone and camera in the next two screens. Click OK to allow access for the interview.
In the next section, click Test Sound to hear a sound. Once you hear the sound, click Join Interview Session to enter the interview lobby.
Please note: In this screen, you should see your image.
After you enter the interview lobby, you will see your image. When the candidate appears, click Begin Interview to start the interview. Waiting for candidate will be listed if the candidate hasn't joined yet.

The following features are available at the bottom of the screen:
- interview schedule
- interview questions
- Interview rating
- interview recommendation
- interview notes
- candidate tags
The following features are available at the top of the screen:
- Press the microphone icon to mute the audio.
- Press the camera icon to disable your camera.
- Press the id badge icon to view candidate details.
- Press the phone icon to end the interview.
