Editing Interviews
To edit a Live interview, open the position in HireVue, find the candidate, and click the pencil icon next to their name.
Please note: Once a Live interview has started, you cannot change the interview details or add participants.
In the Edit Candidate section, edit any of the candidate’s information listed in each field.
In the Candidate Response section, you can view the candidate’s response to the invitation.
In the interview schedule section, change the date, time, duration, and participant for the interview. You can also change any instructions and questions assigned to that interview session.
Once the interview is scheduled, and the interview invitation is sent, the candidate's interview status will change to scheduled. Alternatively, if the interview will be self-scheduled by the candidate, the status will change to Scheduled when the candidate schedules a time for the interview.
Track Interview Invitations
To track interview invitations for candidates and participants, open the position in HireVue, find the candidate, and click the pencil icon next to their name.
In the edit screen, scroll down and click History.
In History, the date and time of each interview invitation and interview update will be listed. The person for each interview change or invitation will also be listed with a description next to their name.
Tip: Use this section to double check email delivery for candidates and participants.
Interview Invitation Response
When an invitation is delivered, the candidates and participants receive a calendar invitation. Their response to that calendar invitation is recorded in HireVue.
To find their response, open the position in HireVue and find the candidate. Under the Interview Date column, the responses will be listed next to the scheduled interview time.
The response icons are defined below:
Accepted: The candidate or participant has accepted the invitation.
Declined: The candidate or participant has declined the invitation.
Tentative: The candidate or participant has put a tentative response in response to the invitation.
Not invited or no response: The candidate or participant has not been invited or they have not responded to the invitation.
Click into the Interview Date column to see the responses for the candidate and participant(s).
Within this Schedule Summary box, you can choose to Send Reminder Emails or Edit Candidate.
Please note: After a Live interview is finished, they take approximately 1 minute to process for every one minute recorded of the interview. This is an approximation because it could run slower or faster depending on how many videos are processing on that server.
