Assessments models can be used with position templates. Use position templates to create consistent, properly configured positions and streamline the position creation process with assessment models.
To access the assessment model section of the template, read below:
- At the top of the page, select Templates.
- At the top right, click Create New Template.
- Name the template, then choose the team under Team Access.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save and Continue.
- The position is now saved in draft mode. You can add the rest of the position details. Click on the Questions tab to assign the assessments model.
- In Questions, choose the assessments model from the drop-down menu.
- After you choose an assessment model the position will automatically be restricted from editing. This means that when positions are created from this template, the position creators will not be able to edit the position. This helps ensure the assessment model is not negatively affected.
Please note: Custom fields, position titles, and integration fields will still be editable.
8. The questions that automatically populate are associated with the selected model and they cannot be deleted.
Please note: The questions cannot be moved into a section that has conflicting settings like forms or is a section with game-based challenges.
9. Complete the rest of the position template and click Publish Template at the bottom of the editor when you are ready to publish it.
Unscored Questions
If you are using a pre-built assessment, click Add a Question to add an unscored question that will not be scored by the assessment model. These questions may include common icebreaker questions.
Keep the following in mind when using unscored questions:
- If the model has a game-based assessment, you can’t edit the section or the games.
- Question forms are not supported in question sections that contain assessment model questions.
Please note: If you do not see this option, you will not be able to take this action.
