Use the intro video to introduce the role or the company, and the closing video to display your branding, thank the candidate, and explain the next steps. These videos help candidates engage in the process and understand interview expectations and organizational culture.
Intro and closing videos can be added when creating the position or after the position has been created. They can only be added to OnDemand or Live Video Interviews.
If a position has already been created, open the position and click on the Interview Setup tab. The intro and closing videos are under the interview setup's Candidate Experience section.
To add an intro or closing video, click Add a Video.
In the new window, you can select a video from the Video Library, Upload a Video, or Record a Video.
Video Tips:
- Intro videos should be approximately 60 to 90 seconds long with content that outlines the company's mission, culture, and employee value proposition — including information about the people, work, organization, holistic career opportunities, and rewards.
- Closing videos should be approximately 15 seconds to 1 minute long with content that discusses the next steps and lets the candidate know to expect an email confirming the receipt of their interview. Let the candidate know you appreciate them and thank them for investing their time in the interview.
- You can work with your marketing team to create a video from an executive sponsor, manager, and key stakeholders OR record a short video via webcam on your desktop. Production value is nice to have, but it isn't necessary.
- Create systemic and flexible videos to be used for various job families, functions, levels, and regions.
