This error means that the interview type (On Demand, Live, etc.) has been disabled for the team or account. To resolve this error, the interview type will need to be enabled.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
- At the top of your screen in HireVue, click Positions.
- Search the position title.
- When it appears, click on the position’s title.
- In the position, find the Team field.
After confirming the team, click on the person icon in the top right corner and choose User Administration.
- In User Administration, click Teams.
- In Teams, click the team name associated with the position.
- In the Team, click Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down the page to locate the On Demand Interviews or Live Interviews section depending on the interview type for the affected position.

- On Demand Interviews
- For On Demand Interviews, click next to On Demand Interview Access and choose the applicable option.
Please note: Audio only will not record video for On Demand interviews. Audio & Video will record audio & video for On Demand interviews. Allow all will allow users to choose between Audio Only or Audio & Video each time they create a position for On Demand interviews.
11. For Live Interviews, click next to Live Video Interviews and change Disabled to Enabled.
